Trainee Adaptations Engineer and/or a qualified Adaptations Engineer
The vacancy is for a Trainee Adaptations Engineer/or qualified Adaptations Engineer with an interest or experience in manufacturing and fitting of adaptations for disabled drivers and passengers from basic mechanical hand controls to complex hi tech controls. All training will be provided by ourselves and other manufacturers. The job requires some travelling to collect and deliver customer vehicles including handover and demonstration of the controls.
This post is ideally suited to those with experience of welding, auto electrics, engineering and fitting of components to vehicles. Though this is not essential as enthusiasm and an ability to learn is just as important.
The hours are 9:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (30 minutes unpaid lunch break 13:00 to 13:30 usually). The applicant may be called on to do overtime occasionally.
